Greetings from France, to our British counter-parts. I have been trying to discover what other societies will be starting up on Kidd server across the nations as well but have thus far been rather fruitless for my efforts. Nice to see at least one other Society has chosen the server to claim as home, and perhaps future dealings may indeed lay on the horizon for us.

HAHA!!! Greetings Shimmering Dawn.. I remember you gentlemen from VanGuard.. I played Simulated Society on the FFA server, a CO-GM (in charge of any and all diplomatic on-goings, lol) from The Keepers Of The Faith..

I remember I created an alliance with you folks and talked on vent with yahs a couple times.

Good people, sad to see youre British, but good to know there will be honor aplenty on Kidd!

Indeed, greetings to you all from Jason Matthews, Privateer and Lt. Commander (recruiter and public relations officer) of the Shimmering Dawn.

I wasn't in Vanguard (thankfully Wink

), so I am a fresh face for ya guys, I've seen a few of ya sailing around up north, hope those Spanish aren't giving ya to many problems. they stopped coming down after we sunk one of their refits lol.

The Spainish have been a bit pesky actually, but mostly for their continious retreating.

I guess they aint pumpin those refits for as cheap as their advertising.. Wink

All I know of em is they used to come and try and bait lone Brits into "1 vs 1" combat only to have 2 or 3 of their friends join the battle when it was started and totally destroy the one they tricked.

They tried that on us once and we we're expect it, we had 5 sail in to their 3, they ran, the next night we sunk their refit, the the following night sunk the guy that was with the refit.....then we had someone sink that same guy again the following night when he was up near you guys. So at this point, I don't think they like us, but they are staying the heck away from us. lol

Yep we have had about the same, they pulled that trick on us and we were unlucky and half our group missed the fight and we lost three ships, but we also took two of theirs before.
