Sphere Society - Cien

As I joined the society last night I think an introduction is in order...

Hi everybody,
My name is Dennis, I'm 36 years old and live in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In PotBS I'm going under the name of Cien Volle (which apparently doesn't mean anything
as it's been 19 years since my last french class and I've completely forgotten how to spell Very Happy

).
Cien is a Privateer, at the moment of writing at level 20 but I expect that to change soon.
I've played PotBS since open beta and have been in the company of 3 RL friends who will be
joining Sphere very soon as well (Roy LeSabre, le mad dog and Oscar De Jarjayes).
I'm looking forward to expanding my group of in-game friends, which to me makes the game
more alive and fun.

I've played many different MMOs over the years, starting with dikuMUD in '91.
Some briefly just to check them out. I think the games I played the longest was WoW and Eve.

I really like the economy part of this game, and most of my playing time in preboard was
spent setting up a production line for cannon ammunition (there's a whole lot of other
stuff I can make as well but ammo was the main focus from the beginning).
I'm running 1 saltpeter cave, 2 limestone quarries, 1 sulfur mine, 1 iron mine, 2 forges,
1 powder mill and 2 weaponsmiths, but since there is not nearly a market for 480 crates
of ammo per day yet, I always have some spare labor.
I'm hoping to putting this to the benefit of the society as much as needed.

I also really like the ship combat, and hunting in groups is for me much more fun than going
solo. My goal is to become an experienced participant in some tightly knit and very much
a**kicking PvP hunting groups.

Finally I'm just looking forward to socialising and getting to know people.

Let the caribbean sea be a flaming pyre,
By setting the enemy ships on fire,
Make Sphere a beast to fear and admire.

Good to have you:) If you have extra labour on your weaponsmiths and iron mines, Bizzy or Zoe might have work for you as part of our shipbuilding orders.
